This book is an expression of the love and respect I have for my dad. It is one of the gifts I can offer him, to let him know even in the world beyond how grateful and fortunate I am to be called his daughter.

Six years after his death, I have finally found the courage to express my feelings about my relationship with my dad. His words and wisdom guided me throughout my childhood, and much of that wisdom continues to help shape my adulthood.

This piece is a message to all fathers: your daughters value you, and we need you, no matter our age

I hope this book helps someone and guides daughters who may not have had a father figure in their lives.
